New Virtek Workstation Takes Multi-Tasking to New Heights
Waterloo, Ontario, Canada (PRWEB) June 15, 2015 -- Virtek Vision International, a market leader in the field of laser-based manufacturing technologies, has added to their current solution offering and has introduced a mobile multi-use workstation that allows users to set up a Virtek laser projection system anywhere within their facility, and then secure it and move it out of the way quickly and easily when the project is complete. The workstation offers ample storage and work space in a unit that can extend from 4 ft. (1.2m) to 20 ft. (6.0m) tall.
The Virtek Projection Workstation is an all-in-one solution that serves as a workspace, adjustable projection mast and storage space for aerospace, construction or heavy equipment applications. The unit offers easy access to the system while keeping the desktop in place. In addition, there is secure space inside the workstation to store the Virtek laser projector or locator when not in use. The workstation is compatible with all of the company’s laser projection systems.
The projection workstation is easy to move and use. The mast of the unit is easily stabilized by the use of drop-down legs, and the projector can be pointed to any angle or location. A drop-down brake is easily released by a foot pedal, and makes the entire unit more stable.
“We interviewed our customers to determine their needs in an ideal workstation. Overall we wanted to help companies take best advantage of the space available to them,” said David Smith, Virtek project manager. “We were able to design, create and manufacture a projection workstation that can serve as an all-in-one location for projection, work and storage, and it can be used in a multi-industry area as well.”
