Florida Hospital North Pinellas is Opening a New Free-Standing Emergency Room in Palm Harbor
Tarpon Springs, FL (PRWEB) August 27, 2015 -- Florida Hospital North Pinellas, located at 1395 South Pinellas Avenue in Tarpon Springs, will open a free-standing emergency room in Palm Harbor in the Fall of 2016. The new facility will be located at US Highway 19 North and Highlands Boulevard, less than eight miles from the main hospital.
The property closed on August 18, and work on the project is slated to begin in September 2015.
The new 24-bed facility will be a full-service emergency room (ER) providing emergency care 24- hours a day, seven-days-a-week. The ER will be staffed with physicians and nurses who specialize in emergency medicine, and will also include on-site X-ray, ultrasound, CT-scan, and laboratory services.
