BMW Group Extends its Reach to Innovative Start-ups at TU-Automotive Europe 2015
London, UK (PRWEB) October 05, 2015 -- BMW Startup Garage was founded in the first half of 2015 and seeks to combine the clout of a global automaker with the ingenuity and originality of up-and-coming start-ups. At the TU-Automotive Europe conference, Mr Gimmy will explain how joining the BMW Startup Garage allows new businesses to use cutting-edge tools and cars to build automotive prototypes with the aid of BMW’s best engineers. Budding start-ups are also given access to BMW’s vast number of departments - from R&D and manufacturing to purchasing and sales.
Project director for TU-Automotive Europe 2015, Jack Palmer, said “The automotive community is buzzing with excitement as new software and services revolutionise the car as we know it. Much of this innovation is coming from outside the traditional automotive ecosystem. While we have CIOs, SVPs and the like on stage at the show – we’re also concentrating on start-ups this year. That’s why I’m delighted to welcome Mr Gimmy and the BMW Startup Garage team to Stuttgart”.
