Aftermarket Supplier To Reveal Long-Wheelbase Stretched Jeep Wrangler Concept At SEMA 2015
Phoenix,Az (PRWEB) November 04, 2015 -- It's been nine years since the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (LJ) has been replaced by the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited four door. The Jeep Wrangler LJ was produced in limited numbers in a 2 1/2 year period, but the LJ remains a very popular Jeep Wrangler variant today. Trail Concepts Founder Jason De Monto said "The Jeep Wrangler LJ is the Jeep everyone wants, so we built a modern version. The original idea was to offer a modern version of the LJ with all the creature comforts of the Jeep Wrangler JK platform. We feel we succeeded at offering what can no longer be purchased at Jeep."
The Dual Sport 106 was born offering similar cargo capacity to the Jeep Wrangler LJ. The body and frame were stretched ten inches (for a 106-inch wheel base) all of it added to the cargo area; the hard top and side windows were extended by ten inches to maintain the proper look. The Dual Sport 106, which looks like a factory Jeep will start production in December with a starting price of $14,995 plus Jeep Wrangler JK.
The concept will be featured at SEMA 2015 in the Rugged Ridge Learning Center upper south hall entrance. The 106 features a Rock Krawler 1.5" lift, 35" tires on Jesse Spade edition wheels by Rugged Ridge. A whole package of new Rugged Ridge products including the Spartacus stamped steel bumpers and hood. The Warn Platinum Zeon 10 winch was used to show case cutting edge winch technology. The dual LED Spod powers all the lighting and accessories with Bluetooth technology.
