Florida Hospital Tampa Names New Executive Director to the Florida Hospital Tampa Foundation
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) November 11, 2015 -- Florida Hospital Tampa is pleased to announce the addition of Wee-Li Tan to the Florida Hospital Tampa Foundation office (Bruce B. Downs and Fletcher) as the new Executive Director. Tan brings more than 15 years of executive leadership, philanthropic, and fundraising experience to his new role that includes planned giving, capital and endowment development, trust administration, and financial services and operations.
Tan was most recently the President/CEO of the Florida United Methodist Foundation in Lakeland, Florida, the second largest United Methodist foundation in the nation, serving over 700 churches conference agencies and other related organizations and community projects throughout the state.
Prior to that, he served as the President of The United Methodist Foundation of New England in New Hampshire covering the six New England states.

In his new position, Tan will oversee fundraising, development and giving opportunities that support critical Hospital expansions, renovations and the ability to secure and maintain the latest technology and equipment in order to provide the best possible patient care.
Tan is an ordained United Methodist minister. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Singapore, and graduate degrees from the University of London in England and from King’s College, University of Aberdeen in Scotland. He has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), a financial planning credential, and is also an Enrolled Agent which is the highest tax credential that the Internal Revenue Service awards.
