American Psychiatric Nurses Association Call for Abstracts - Collaborating in an Evolving Health Care System: Opportunities to Advance Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing
Falls Church, VA (PRWEB) January 07, 2015 -- The American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) Annual Conference is a platform for the psychiatric-mental health nursing community to share original research, information on clinical topics and trends, outcomes from innovations in administration education, or practice, and more. One of the largest gatherings of psychiatric-mental health nurses in the US, the conference offers a high caliber continuing education program addressing current and relevant topics in nursing and mental health. APRNs, RNs, and other health care professionals are invited to submit abstracts to be considered for presentation at this year’s Annual Conference, which will be held October 28-31, 2015 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Abstracts must be submitted online by March 9, 2015 at 11:59 Eastern Time.

Submissions will undergo peer review by the APNA Scholarly Review Committee and may be considered for any of the following formats: 2-hour pre-conference, 45-minute concurrent session, 20-minute mini-concurrent session, or poster presentation. Abstracts presented at the conference will provide continuing nursing education contact hours and recordings of presentations may be published as online continuing education in the APNA eLearning Center, providing presenters with an enduring presence and broad exposure.

The American Psychiatric Nurses Association is a national professional membership organization committed to the specialty practice of psychiatric-mental health nursing and wellness promotion, prevention of mental health problems and the care and treatment of persons with psychiatric disorders.
