Live Portrait Teams up with McCoy Mills Ford & Fullerton Photographics to Debut an Interactive Community Mural
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) January 02, 2016 -- Live Portrait has teamed up with McCoy Mills Ford, The All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation and Fullerton Photographics to unveil an interactive community mural created by Fullerton School District students. By using an app called Live Portrait, visitors of the mural (located at the McCoy Mills Ford Dealership) are able to point their smart phone cameras at the artwork and instantly view a video clip of the young artists discussing their creation.
“What an amazing and inspiring debut event we had at McCoy Mills Ford in Fullerton! We were so thrilled to celebrate our young visual artists and the partnership we have with Jim Miller and Fullerton Photo as we welcomed in the newest community mural! We had a full house of student artists, their families, All the Arts board members, Fullerton School District Superintendent, principals, Dr. Craig Bertsch, Dr. Emy Flores, Susan Hume, teachers, community members, the Founders of Live Portrait Robert Nunn, Samuel Zaribian, and more! We can't wait for more evenings like these ones!” Gabrielle Mullinax – President, Fullerton Photographics
The All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation has raised over 1.2 million dollars for District art programs and is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to developing, sustaining, and supporting the arts as an intrinsic part of every child’s education.
It is this organization’s passionate belief that the arts are the birthright of every child, and as such, the Foundation champions the arts in the Fullerton School District. This grass roots community effort is staffed solely by volunteers, so that all proceeds go directly to the children in every school in the District.
“We are honored that our technology was used as a tool to allow to students to express themselves. It’s very rewarding to see the reactions and excitement at the art wall debut from people using the Live Portrait app to unlock the hidden videos inside of the student’s artwork.” -Samuel Zaribian, Co-Founder, Live Portrait
