DEFTEC Corporation Awarded Second Option Year JIDA Acquisition Evaluation Division (AED) PRIME CONTRACT
Huntsville, AL (PRWEB) May 10, 2016 -- DEFTEC Corporation today announced that it had been awarded a modification for the second option year on HQ0682-14-C-0004, its Prime contact supporting the Joint Improvised-threat Defeat Agency (JIDA) Acquisition Evaluation Division (AED). This option award extends the contract through May 11, 2017 and places the contract value at more than $15M. Under HQ0682-14-C-0004, a competitively bid, small business set aside, time and materials contract, DEFTEC and its partners, The Corvus Group, AMERICAN SYSTEMS, and Ideal Innovations, Inc., support developmental test and evaluation of C-IED systems for rapid acquisition by developing techniques, tactics and procedures (TTP) based on test results, as well, as training, documentation, test and evaluation, knowledge transfer, and cross-Services coordination.
