New at Summit Racing Equipment: Fat N’ Furious: Rolling Thunder Parts Combos
Tallmadge, OH (PRWEB) May 12, 2016 -- Summit Racing now carries Fat N' Furious: Rolling Thunder Parts Combos. They feature many of the parts used on the cars seen on Season Three of Discovery Channel's Fat N' Furious: Rolling Thunder television series.
Fat N’ Furious: Rolling Thunder is on Discovery Channel’s “Motor Monday” program block. The show follows the larger-than-life exploits of Tommy Christmas, Chuck Kountz, Steve McGranathan, and Andy Pivarnik as they transform old vehicles into rolling masterpieces. Here are the Parts Combos featured In the first two episodes:
1971 Chevy C-10 Parts Combos
The Christmas Automotive guys took a roller Chevy C-10 and gave it a drag-ready makeover with a vintage hauler vibe. Under the hood is a Chevrolet Performance ZZ502 big block crate engine, backed by a TCI Sizzler TH-350 transmission. Other fun stuff includes a Spartan locker, Hooker Competition headers and Thrush dual exhaust, and Wheel Vintiques steelies on Hoosier Quick Time and Cooper tires.
1968 Chevy Chevelle Parts Combos
After sitting idle for years, a 1968 Chevy Chevelle was pulled out of its slumber and given the full restomod treatment, as a gift from a mother to her son. The big block was upgraded with Summit Racing ignition, fuel, and other parts. The engine is backed by a new TCI TH-350 transmission with a Summit Racing torque converter, and a Summit Racing Hilborn-style scoop juts out of an Original Parts Group SS hood.
1973 Plymouth Road Runner Parts Combos
In episode two, the Fat N’ Furious crew got their hands on a 1973 Plymouth Road Runner. Even though it was a 440 car, that wasn’t enough for the owner, so a 426 Hemi crate engine took its place. Accessories include a Holley 750 cfm double pumper carburetor, a Classic Performance front disc brake kit, and Anchor Industries engine mounts.
New episodes of Fat ’N Furious: Rolling Thunder will air each Monday on Discovery Channel at 10 pm EST through June 20. Summit Racing will post Parts Combos for each episode after it airs.
