Introducing Dero’s New Bike Depot Shelter for Secure, Long-term and Short-term Bicycle Parking
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) June 15, 2016 -- Dero is proud to introduce the Bike Depot, an ideal addition to its extensive bike shelter line. The Bike Depot is a solid choice for secure, short-term or long-term bike parking, offering both fully enclosed and open options. Plus it accommodates Dero’s most space efficient bike racks – two-tiered and vertical parking systems.
Whether the project is at a transit station, university campus, or residential building, the Bike Depot’s modular design lets customers easily build out to meet their space requirements. They also have the option to fully enclose the Bike Depot with heavy-duty wire mesh and double doors to create the perfect, long-term bike station, or keep it open for public accessible, short-term parking. The double doors swing out, creating the perfect aisle to accommodate people entering the shelter with their bicycles. The high-security door latch locks using a key.
The Bike Depot’s height allows customers to choose from Dero’s most space efficient bike racks – the two-tiered Dero Decker and Dero Duplex, and vertical Ultra Space Saver and Bike File – fitting up to 14 bikes in the starter unit. If the Bike File is chosen, predrilled holes in the roof truss makes for easy installation. All bike rack systems are sold separately.
The Bike Depot’s corrugated metal roof holds up in all seasons and protects bicycles from inclement weather. Its steel frame and thick wire mesh walls can be galvanized or powder coated. It offers easy, one-day, on-site assembly for two people with the help of a material lift or forklift. Ships flat on pallets.
