SubPac Partners with VRLA to Bring Physical Audio to the First Ever Virtual Reality Silent Rave at VRLA Summer Expo 2016
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 03, 2016 -- SubPac, the pioneers of physical audio through wearable technology, is bringing a new dimension to the virtual reality music experience by teaming up with VRLA to produce the first-ever silent virtual reality rave.
The Silent VR Rave at VRLA Summer Expo 2016 will feature a lineup of DJs using The Wave VR performance system using the HTC Vive, integrated with video screens from 3D Live, to create a mixed reality experience. Guests will engage in the VR rave using stereoscopic glasses along with Skullcandy Crusher VRA™ headphones, rounded out by the SubPac M2 wearable bass system applying physical sound to the party, allowing users to truly feel the experience. In addition, SubPac will be on exhibit in West Hall B providing interactive, hands-on demonstrations of its M2 wearable bass system, and its S2 seatback tactile bass system.
“As the VR industry continues to evolve, we’re proud to be on the forefront of enhancing virtual interactivity with physical sound,” says Todd Chernecki, CEO and co-founder of SubPac. “Since developing wearable bass in 2012, we’ve applied physical audio to hundreds of applications, and VR/AR is at the top of the list when it comes to creativity and innovation.”
“The SubPac adds an entirely new dimension to VR experiences that make them way more immersive and engaging. I can't help but smile every time I use one, and so we're thrilled to work with SubPac on the world's first VR rave,” says Cosmo Scharf, Founder of VRLA.
VRLA Summer Expo 2016 is open to the public, and takes place on Friday and Saturday, August 5-6, 2016, at the Los Angles Convention Center, 10am-6pm daily. For more information about SubPac or VRLA visit http://www.subpac.com or http://www.virtualrealityla.com/summer-expo-16.
