Advanced Medical Transport Receives National Award from American Ambulance Association for Their Innovative and Life-Saving "Race to the Top" Program.
Peoria, IL (PRWEB) November 23, 2016 -- The American Ambulance Association (AAA) presented Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) with the 2016 AMBY Award, a prestigious national honor that recognizes the best practices in the ambulance industry. AMT CEO Andrew Rand was presented the award during a ceremony at the American Ambulance Association's National Conference in Las Vegas, NV, November 7-9, 2016.
The AMBYs highlight excellence in EMS and the ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit that epitomize AAA members. AMT was presented the award in Best Clinical Outcome for their Race to the Top program - an initiative developed in conjunction with physician experts, medical centers and biomedical manufacturers. Race to the Top is a roadmap to markedly improve emergency care and patient outcomes by bringing together an entire community as a team of qualified lifesavers in the event of life-threatening sudden cardiac arrest event.
