Yamaha Clavinova CLP-600 Series Digital Pianos Offer GrandTouch Action, Bluetooth Audio, and Immersive Binaural Samples
BUENA PARK, Calif. (PRWEB) May 05, 2017 -- Yamaha Corporation of America today introduced the Clavinova CLP-600 Series, the latest addition to the award-winning Clavinova digital piano line.
These new models—the CLP-625, CLP-635, CLP-645, CLP-665GP, CLP-675, and CLP-685 —offer impressive enhancements in playability, sound and convenience. Additional finish and cabinet design options have also been added.
With the introduction of the CLP-600 series, Yamaha once again shows why the Clavinova, which TIME magazine last year named as one of the “50 Most Influential Tech Gadgets of All Time,” is the perennial leader in the digital piano category.
The top-of-the-line CLP-675 and CLP-685 models feature the new Yamaha GrandTouch Keyboard action, which offers pianists the expressiveness and dynamic response of an acoustic grand piano. From the quietest to the loudest passages, the playing feel is consistent and authentic.
For the first time, all models across the CLP line come loaded with two exquisite, meticulously sampled grand pianos, the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial. Each piano also features a set of binaural CFX samples, which make playing with headphones a compelling, immersive experience.
Another significant addition to the CLP-600 series pianos is Bluetooth audio capability, available in the CLP-645 model and up. Users can stream music from a mobile device through the piano’s high-quality speakers, and even play along. Pairing a CLP piano with a phone or tablet is virtually effortless.
The CLP-600 series brings with it yet another improvement: The Piano Room offers a dedicated environment in which fine details such as lid position, touch response, resonance settings and venue can be adjusted, allowing the player to customize their piano-playing experience.
“We’ve added several significant improvements that make these new models the most versatile and user-friendly CLP digital pianos we’ve ever offered,” said Dane Madsen, marketing manager, Digital Pianos, Yamaha Corporation of America. “Features such as the GrandTouch Keyboard action on the top models, the stunning binaural samples and the convenient Bluetooth audio make the CLP-600 line appealing to families and individuals looking for an alternative to an upright acoustic piano.”
Between their concert-quality sound, authentic touch, and a myriad of models and prices, there’s a CLP-600 piano for any type of player, from a beginner to a virtuoso. For the consumer, new aesthetic choices such as updated finishes and cabinet designs, make it easy to find a model that looks great in any room in the house.
The new series is also perfectly positioned for the educational market, thanks to its combination of build-quality, features and great sound. The impressive sound of the binaural CFX samples make these instruments ideally suited for labs and practice studios where students play with headphones on.
