Tenzing Expands Leadership Team to Address Evolving Business Needs of Retail and B2B Ecommerce Customers
(PRWEB) May 10, 2017 -- Tenzing, a leading provider of ecommerce infrastructure and application services, announced today the further strengthening of its leadership team with the addition of Brandon Grant as Vice President of Cloud Services. The move aligns with the company’s direction to augment its strong managed hosting portfolio with more cloud-based options, deeper application support, and other services tailored for online retailers and B2B ecommerce customers. The strategic additions to Tenzing’s leadership team are designed to help provide customers cost-effective and flexible solutions that address their evolving business needs.
Tenzing has had increasing demand from customers wanting to move their ecommerce systems to the cloud. Brandon Grant will be accountable for all aspects of Tenzing’s Cloud Services. He will work closely with key cloud partners such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and others to deliver high-performance, scalable enterprise solutions. Grant brings a proven track record of helping companies adopt cloud and SaaS technologies. Before joining, he led the runtime operations teams for all Oracle Cloud Services.
According to Tenzing President Raj Atwal, “Brandon’s level of expertise and unique skills will help us bring our cloud-based commerce services to a new level. The companies we deal with are undergoing rapid change and redefining the types of services they need, and how they want to consume them. We have been bringing thought leaders like Brandon on board to help guide our customers and partners manage these transformations.”
Gordon Dyer also joined Tenzing’s executive team recently as Chief Financial Officer. Dyer brings more than 20 years of financial management expertise to Tenzing and previously held CFO positions at Q9, LexisNexis Canada, and McGraw-Hill Ryerson Ltd. He has also held senior finance positions at prominent technology firms such as Teletech Canada, EDS and Rogers Communications.
Tenzing added several other key leaders including Jason Antheunis, Vice President, Managed Services, and Peter Kola, Director of Infrastructure. Both joined the company with strong technology management backgrounds. Kola, who joined last month, brings years of experience operating modern data centre and network infrastructure.
Atwal concluded, “The caliber of talent Tenzing is now attracting is a testament to our reputation in the industry and people’s belief in our vision. We are confident the changes we are making will have a strong positive impact for our customers now and in the future.”
