“Believers in our post-modern culture must resist contentment with stories and memories of past relationships with God and intentionally press forward into His manifest presence which empowers Christians to make a difference right where God places them . . . in the workplace, marketplace, and communities where we live our lives.” --Dr. Douglas G. Sullivan
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Dr. Douglas G. Sullivan’s new book offers a comprehensive study of God’s interaction with mankind throughout the ages.
Like Abraham, Moses, David, Paul, and countless others, the power of the Holy Spirit changes those who allow it to change them. Through his new book, author Dr. Douglas G. Sullivan examines the Biblical foundation needed to understand the impact of spirit-filled Christians throughout the world and history. Dr. Sullivan skillfully traces God’s glorious presence through the Bible to show how the loving Father revealed Himself to ordinary people and the impact it had on the lives of those around them.
As true believers developed a true relationship with the Lord, God revealed His glory in them, which allowed them to transform other individuals in their communities. People can find the evidence of God’s manifest presence in their relationships. God connects individually with people then impacts all of His Children through these personal interactions. Dr. Sullivan hopes all believers can learn to fully embrace the Holy presence of the Father in personal and life-changing encounters just as the patriarchs of old experienced.
