It’s Time for a Classic Children’s Halloween Story with "One Halloween Night"
(PRWEB) October 11, 2017 -- Trick-or-treaters are in for a real treat when they read "One Halloween Night," Ada N. Letelier’s Halloween-themed who-done-it that’s written completely in rhyme. From the book:
"Day grew into night
and many spooky creatures came into sight
There were goblins and ghosts
and witches and clowns
There were all sorts of characters
all over the town"
But when children pass by Jack-o-lantern’s home late on Halloween night, they discover a missing apple pie, and it seems perhaps Jack-o-lantern himself may be involved in its disappearance.
Young readers can imagine the hijinks and fun that is happening all around town that night, especially after the pie disappears.
The colorful illustrations throughout the book by Antonia Acuña bring to life the author’s delightful verse.
