America's Youngest Female Yoga Teacher, Natalie Asatryan, Raises Thousands for Charity
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) January 31, 2018 -- As the youngest female yoga teacher in America, 12-year-old Natalie Asatryan is using her passion for yoga to make a difference not only in the community, but around the world. Asatryan teaches yoga in the Los Angeles area, and her classes are 100 percent donation-based. By teaching yoga, she has raised thousands of dollars to support various nonprofit organizations such as the American Red Cross for Hurricane Harvey victims and the Unstoppable Foundation to support a rural village in Africa.
Through her partnership with the Unstoppable Foundation, Asatryan is helping to build a school in Kenya and enabling children of an entire village to get an education, nutritious food, clean water, sanitation and healthcare. The Unstoppable Foundation shares, "We are so inspired by the impact that 12-year-old Natalie Asatryan is making and are grateful for her support!"
"There is no age limit for changing the world," says Asatryan who hopes to inspire other children her age to use their interests and talents to make the world a better place. "It's hard for me to imagine a world where children get up in the morning and don’t have a school to attend. I want to make sure every child has an opportunity to get an education because children are the future."
Wise beyond her years, Asatryan not only uses her platform to support many in need, she also provides exceptional yoga instruction. Her classes are always full, and many of her students are impressed that she "can command a room full of adults," and "keeps the classes spiritual, joyful, lighthearted and fun at the same time."
Asatryan started taking yoga classes when she was only 5 years old. She fell in love with yoga and by the time she was 9, she told her mom she wanted to become a yoga teacher. A few years later after tenaciously searching for a program that would enable her to become a certified yoga instructor at such a young age, Asatryan completed a 200-hour teacher training program with 10 adults. She is now a certified yoga teacher and a member of Yoga Alliance. For more information about Asatryan and her donation-based yoga classes, please follow her on social media at the links below.
