Buchbinder and Krabill are collaborating with Sasha Lurje, a Latvia-born Yiddish song performer and teacher who has participated in and organized a variety of Yiddish music festivals throughout the world and as Artistic Director is tasked with developing a program of varied musical performances during the week-long voyage that informs and deepens the experience of the guests. Other performers who have confirmed their participation for the floating festival include Daniel Kahn, a Berlin-based Yiddish songwriter and revolutionary cabaret artist, Lorin Sklamberg, Grammy Award-winning lead singer for the Klezmatics, virtuoso clarinetist and multi-instrumentalist Christian Dawid, and bass Anthony Russell accompanied by Dr. Alan Mason.
