DURHAM, N.C. (PRWEB) March 08, 2018 -- James Scott Farrin personal injury attorney, Pridgen (PJ) Green, volunteered as a moderator for the regional Honda Academic Qualifying Tournament hosted by North Carolina Central University (NCCU).

This academic tournament showcases students from historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) as they compete for a national spot in the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (HCASC) tournament in April. HCASC is a national academic competition designed to highlight and recognize the academic talent of students from HBCUs.

Green competed in this challenge as a student for three years while attending Hampton University in Hampton, VA. After graduation, she decided to continue participating in the challenge and has been volunteering for over eight years.

Green said, “I love participating in the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge because it not only highlights the scholastic achievements of students at historically black colleges and universities, but creates a family and pool of diverse talent within which to network at all stages of life.”

She plans to moderate for the championship tournament again, April 7th through 11th.
