Home Chef’s Expanded Menu Now Offers Customers 60 Recipes a Month
CHICAGO (PRWEB) March 28, 2018 -- Most Americans consider themselves to be pretty savvy in the kitchen, but in a recent study of nearly 1,000 U.S. adults, Home Chef, the largest private meal kit company in the country, found that even the most frequent cooks admit that their recipe repertoire could use some spicing up. While more than 88% of Americans said they felt better about eating a home cooked meal, only about half of the respondents were cooking as often as they wanted. The other half cited lack of variety in what they cooked and difficulty figuring out what to cook as the top reasons they weren’t cooking more**.
Today, Home Chef announces an expanded menu that offers customers even more variety to spice up mealtime. The Company already leads the industry with the most recipe choices among the top meal kit companies* and is now increasing to include 15 weekly menu options that change each and every week.
“Our entire menu development process starts and ends with our customers. We know that our home chefs want more variety in their home cooking but with work and family and so many other priorities, it’s difficult to break out of the regular recipe rotation,” said Home Chef’s head of culinary Erik Jensen, “We’re excited to offer our customers even more variety than before. With 60 recipes a month, there’s truly something for everyone.”
Based on the success of its signature no-cook 5-Minute Lunches, Home Chef is adding additional lunch items like grain bowls and new salad choices with steak, tuna, and prosciutto. Home Chef is also expanding the number of dinner recipes available each week, giving customers more of the meals they love, including popular favorites like Parisian Bistro Steak, Teriyaki and Ginger-Glazed Salmon, Chicken and Mushroom Gravy, among others. With even more menu options, fresh, pre-portioned ingredients, and flexible plans, it’s easy to find a Home Chef meal that’s sure to delight everyone around the table.
“We’re proud to now offer more options to our customers, especially knowing that variety is so important to people around the country,” said Home Chef's CEO Pat Vihtelic. “There’s a great deal of complexity in having such a large, fully rotating menu like ours, but we’ve never shied away from difficulty in delivering the best service to our customers.”
