Pandere Successfully Crowdfunds Expandable Shoes on Kickstarter and Plans to Continue Pre-orders InDemand
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (PRWEB) May 16, 2018 -- The Pandere team has announced their plan to move to Indiegogo’s InDemand platform as they wrap up the last 48 hours of their successful Kickstarter campaign. The Pandere shoes campaign fully funded over the weekend thanks to more than 165 backers who have all pre-ordered the shoes. And, because of their success, Pandere is now able to bring their stylish and comfortably designed shoes to production.
The Pandere team is comprised of three entrepreneurial women. Ayla Rogers, Celia Crosset, and Laura Oden have all put their heads together to come up with a footwear solution for women with swollen feet. Laura Oden has been a sufferer of lymphedema for many years and has come to find that there are many just like her. Pandere shoes expand in three key areas to accommodate swelling. Wearers are able to expand the toebox, midfoot and the heel and ankle with just the pull of a chord. The shoes have the ability to expand up to one and a half shoe sizes to the wearer’s ultimate level of comfort without sacrificing one area of comfort for others.
“We are very proud of the success of our campaign and look forward to continuing to offer Pandere to all kinds of women across the globe,” said Laura Oden, Co-Founder of Pandere. “We’ve had this idea for a while, and we’re eager to get our product in the hands (and feet!) of our backers. We just want to be able to take away the burden of shoe shopping for women with swollen feet.”
With the addition of their newest shoe style, the Neo boot, backers can choose from two different styles of shoes. The Barista is a low top shoe made from lightweight and flexible materials. The Barista is an everyday option that provides comfort and style. The Neo boot is a soft and supportive boot that offers expansion in the midfoot and ankle with stretchy neoprene. They can be worn to dinner, a girl’s night out, a children's soccer game, or while just out and about.
The Pandere team plans to sell their line of expandable shoes starting at $125, which is almost 30% off the future MRP, on Indiegogo. For more information about Pandere, visit the Kickstarter campaign at bit.ly/PandereKS.
About Pandere
Co-founder Laura Oden has suffered from lymphedema, a fluid buildup that swells her feet to different sizes, for most of her life. For people like her, and others with diabetes, arthritis or injuries, attractive shoes can be impossible to find. In Laura’s search of the perfect shoe, she found that no other company is making stylish shoes for people who don’t fit into regular sizes. Laura and her other Co-founders, Celia Crossett and Ayla Rogers, believe that everyone deserves a shoe that fits, so they began their journey to create Pandere.
