Intersect by Hobsons Awards One High School and One Higher Education Institution $1,000 Scholarship
ARLINGTON, Va. (PRWEB) June 14, 2018 -- Hobsons, the education technology leader, is pleased to announce the first four recipients of the Counselor Community Scholarship. Each winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship to award to a student at their respective high school or college.
The winners for the months of April and May were:
- Justina George, Director of Student Resources, Bard High School Early College, New Orleans, La.
- Lauren Mack, Director of Digital Engagement & Social Media, St. Francis College, Brooklyn, N.Y.
- Karen Kimball, Advancement Coordinator, Imagine International Academy of North Texas, McKinney, Texas.
- Blake Vawter, Senior Associate Director of Admissions, Recruitment & Marketing, Oregon State University, Corvallis, Ore.
To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Counselor Community and to help promote community building toward college access, Hobsons announced the scholarship campaign. Monthly, from April through September 2018, Hobsons will select a representative from one higher education institution and one high school to receive the $1,000 scholarship.

Hobsons launched the Counselor Community to create a space where high school and college admissions counselors can connect, strengthen relationships and work together to help students find best-fit college options.
