NEW YORK, Oct. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Lime Connect will host its second annual Century Ride on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at The Bike Lane in Reston, Virginia. Designed as a great ride (10-, 30-, 66- and 100-mile routes) for a great cause, cyclists will enjoy the gorgeous northern Virginia foliage along the W&OD Trail and suburban streets with rest stops and rider support along the way.
Post-ride festivities include a food truck, music, massages, and beer specially brewed by The Bike Lane - in addition to the awards ceremony.
Proceeds benefit Lime Connect's work to rebrand disability through achievement - specifically the Lime Connect Pathways Scholarship for high school seniors who happen to have disabilities and are entering university, coaching and other programs that support it's 15,000 member Lime Network. Prizes are awarded for the top fund raiser, and top fundraising team, and giveaways include a Yeti 45 cooler, Trailkeg gallon package, gift certificates to Carolina Brothers Barbecue and The Bike Lane, and more. The top fundraiser will also receive two round-trip tickets to anywhere in the U.S. on Southwest Airlines. (Fundraising is not required to ride.)
The Lime Connect Century Ride is presented by Bloomberg, and sponsors include Google, NEA (New Enterprise Associates), The Meridian Group/The Boro, Select Physical Therapy, Unilever and The Bike Lane.
