Nunbelievable Reaches 1 Million Meals Donated Milestone
The Mission-Based Better For You Baked Goods Company has sold enough cookies to provide proceeds for one million meals to feed those in need
NEW YORK, Nov. 11, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Mission-driven food startup Nunbelievable has just reached a critical milestone in just two years since launching the business. Through partner non-profit organizations, Nunbelievable has been able to donate proceeds from the sale of better-for-you baked goods to provide 1,032,000 meals to those in need across the U.S. According to Nunbelievable's Co-founder and CEO, Bryan Janeczko, "As a social venture, our mission is to provide a meal for every product purchased. We are grateful for the support of our retail and distribution partners who are helping us achieve our goal of providing 10 million meals by the end of 2023."
"Consumers know that their dollars have an impact and are more likely to purchase brands that support a cause," states Michael Berl, Head of Partnerships at GoPuff, the instant needs delivery platform. "Gopuff is thrilled to recognize Nunbelievable's important milestone and help advance its mission to feed those in need."
According to Feeding America, 42 million people in the United States, including 13 million children, may experience food insecurity in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Nunbelievable is also a participant of Feeding America's 1 Billion Meal Challenge, meaning that donations will be matched and provide twice the impact.
"As a cookie company, we want to create delicious, memorable experiences for our customers and those we serve through our one-for-one impact model," says Nunbelievable Co-founder and CMO, Kuda Biza. "With the holidays upon us, Nunbelievable is the perfect gift for employees or customers because it is the gift that gives back. What a meaningful way to say thank you."
The company has two lines of baked goods, a traditional line of artisanal cookies in 4 varieties, including chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, and gluten-free double chocolate. There is a low carb/keto-friendly line of cookies that are gluten free with no added sugar, including the following varieties, chocolate chip, pecan sandy, double chocolate, and snickerdoodle with baobab, an emerging superfood that has reported immunity boosting properties.
Nunbelievable cookies can be found online at Nunbelievable.com and Amazon.com, available for instant delivery in select cities on GoPuff.com and UberEats, and in select retailers, including Festival Foods, Hy-Vee and Schnucks. Through the efforts of these incredible partners, Nunbelievable is working to end hunger in the most delicious way.
