The world's largest mass timber event continues to evolve for its 7th year, March 27–29, 2023.
MISSOULA, Mont., Oct. 27, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- When the International Mass Timber Conference resumed in person earlier this year it shattered its previous attendance records with over 2,100 registrants from 33 countries. And now excitement is building as we plan for the 7th Annual International Mass Timber Conference scheduled for March 27–29, 2023, at the Oregon Convention Center. Our expanded Exhibit Hall is on the verge of selling out well in advance and companies have purchased sponsorships at a rapid pace with only a limited inventory still available. Reservations at the official hotels are brisk with Hotel Eastlund almost sold out and the Hyatt Regency filling quickly.
The conference's format will temporarily change in 2023 with Monday through Wednesday activities. Participants have a choice on Monday, March 27, of optional ticketed events: mass timber building tours or a popular mass timber 101 clinic from WoodWorks titled "Mass Timber Boot Camp: Becoming a Mass Timber Design Expert." Tuesday and Wednesday offer 16 educational panels over the two days, multiple keynote and general session "Fireside Chat" presentations, and a bustling exhibit hall.
The event's two evening receptions on Monday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 28, have been fine-tuned to finish an hour earlier each day, giving attendees and companies more downtime and flexibility in the evenings to hold their own hosted dinners and private meetings.
As in past years, 2023 attendees receive considerable value for the price of their passes. Participants with Full passes receive benefits that include
- a complimentary PDF of the 200+ page 2023 International Mass Timber Report,
- access to all educational presentations,
- access to the Exhibit Hall,
- breakfast and lunch, and all-day hot coffee and tea on Tuesday and Wednesday,
- two evening receptions with complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and
- numerous networking breaks.
(Single day passholders receive a limited version of the benefits listed above.)
