Announcing 10th Annual ConnectHER Film Festival 2022: International competition of short films highlighting various women's issues
ConnectHER Film Festival (CFF), presented by ConnectHER and Eloise DeJoria, returns on Saturday, November 5 from 3 to 9 pm at St. Andrew's Dell Fine Arts Theater in Austin. The festival will showcase short films made by young filmmakers around the world. Topics include education for girls, immigrants and refugees, period poverty, re-defining beauty, sex trafficking and more.
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 19, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ConnectHER Film Festival (CFF), presented by ConnectHER and Eloise DeJoria, returns on Saturday, November 5 from 3 to 9 pm at St. Andrew's Dell Fine Arts Theater in Austin. The festival will showcase short films made by young filmmakers around the world. Topics include education for girls, immigrants and refugees, period poverty, re-defining beauty, sex trafficking and more.
Each year, a panel of esteemed judges reviews top entrants to select 30 finalists to be considered for final awards on festival day. This year's lineup of judges include long-time CFF supporters Elizabeth Avellán–Austin-based film producer, Eloise DeJoria–Philanthropist, Ian Somerhalder–entrepreneur, actor and star of The Vampire Diaries, Zain Asher–CNN news anchor and journalist, Tara Emad–Egyptian actress and global ambassador, among others.

To date, more than 1,500 youth from 64 countries have taken an impressive step through CFF in creativity and activism to bring attention to serious issues that impact women – and societies – worldwide."
Tickets are available for $15 for the day program, $35 for the evening program, in addition to a $100 VIP All-Access ticket option. The day program features a panel and film screening from 3 pm to 6 pm. At the Red Carpet Awards program, $34,000 in awards will be presented for this year's winning submissions.
