"Day of the Dead in Mexico is a celebration that dates back to prehispanic times. For us, it is a very important celebration. It signifies the transitory return of the souls of those that have passed on. November 1st and 2nd we commemorate the memory of our loved ones that are no longer physically with us, and we welcome them back in our homes by creating altars with their favorite foods, visiting the cemetery with colorful offerings (ofrendas).
We are very proud to bring this celebration to the Inland Empire as this celebration was declared in 2008 by the Unesco as Intangible Cultural Heritage of the World" -Violeta Suazo, President and Founder of Bordando Nuestras Raíces
