ATLANTA, May 2, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Sability announced today its acquisition of LeadingEdge Payroll Group (LEPG) of Ontario, a widely recognized Canadian HCM, payroll, and compliance specialist and long-time UKG certified consulting partner. Sability, the UKG HCM services partner of the year in 2020 and 2021, is the most experienced UKG partner in North America and has certified teams across all current and legacy UKG HCM and WFM solutions.
The acquisition brings together two of the top UKG services partners in the U.S. and Canada. It immediately strengthens Sability's existing presence in Canada while giving LEPG customers access to U.S.-based implementation experience, increased product knowledge and broadened services across UKG's full suite of HCM and WFM products globally, as well as Sability's managed services.
Sability's and LEPG's UKG clients are increasingly doing business in both the U.S. and Canada, company leaders note, so the integration of Sability's and LEPG's highly skilled resources will expand Sability's North American UKG implementation team and add an unparalleled new layer of deep Canadian compliance and best-practice consulting.
Both teams will operate under the Sability banner, though LEPG consultants and existing clients will continue operations undisrupted. All LeadingEdge employees will remain with Sability, including Founder, President, and CEO Ian Mise, who takes on a new role as General Manager of Sability Canada, Inc. The integration between companies is expected to be complete within 30 days.
This quickness is due in part to the innate compatibility of both companies.
"LeadingEdge is run with the same integrity and high quality that Sability strives for," says Sability CEO Rob Leonard. "The complementary nature of our businesses and the market demand for expanded offerings in both the U.S. and Canada made this an easy decision."
LEPG President and CEO Ian Mise expands: "We have been impressed with Sability for years, and I expect this unified organization to thrive throughout the U.S. and Canada. Unlike many similar acquisitions, we do not have to manufacture a shared company culture or establish a new set of guiding principles. We already share them and I know that our joint teams will continue to embrace the passion and drive for service excellence that is demonstrated on each and every client assignment."
Sability CSO James Shryock notes that as Sability began looking to grow, LeadingEdge was the first group it turned to. "There was synergy from the start. We believe the combined group will do amazing things."
The acquisition, effective May 1, 2022, creates the strongest and most comprehensive UKG services portfolio anywhere in the U.S. and Canada.
