New additions reflect Babyscripts' continued commitment to empower females through leadership
WASHINGTON, July 12, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Babyscripts, the leading virtual care platform for managing obstetrics, today announced two critical additions to company leadership, naming new board member, Sheila Schweitzer, and Executive Vice President of Revenue, Shellé Jones. These decisions mark Babyscripts' latest step to empower female leadership at the executive and advisory level.
Ms. Schweitzer has more than 32 years of experience in the healthcare industry and brings to the Babyscripts board a tremendous depth of experience and success as a C-level executive, investor, and advisor. She is the founder and former CEO of PatientMatters Holding, LLC, a technology and patient engagement firm helping healthcare providers manage patient financial obligations. She was previously the Chairman and CEO of CareMedic, an HCIT revenue cycle management company; COO of MedUnite, a consortium of insurance/managed care companies that created a health data exchange; CEO of Presideo, a biometric security platform for HCIT systems; and SVP, Operations of Envoy, the nation's largest healthcare clearinghouse.

Ms. Jones formerly held the position of VP of Payer Partnerships and Strategic Accounts at Babyscripts. In this role, she orchestrated and closed multiple partnerships with national and regional health plans, significantly expanding Babyscripts' market-share in the payer space. Before joining Babyscripts, Jones spent more than 15 years in healthcare sales, strategy, and operational leadership roles including 8 years leading strategic growth as VP of Strategic Partnerships for AccentCare and Graham Healthcare Group. In her new role at Babyscripts, Jones will draw on her expertise to create and lead the sales organization strategy to create new revenue streams and drive growth.
