Wine Oh! TV Now Airing On CBS Bay Area After the Stern Grove Festival Live Broadcast
SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) June 22, 2023 -- Thinque Media announced today Wine Oh! TV is now broadcasting on television and online on CBS Bay Area and KBCW. The first episode of the new season of Wine Oh! TV aired on Father’s Day 2023 and will continue to broadcast on CBS Bay Area all summer following the first ever Stern Grove Festival live broadcast.
"I am so grateful to the leadership at CBS Bay Area for believing in me and our show. It’s been a long journey back after losing my husband to colon cancer in 2019 and raising our young twin daughters on my own,” said Soltani. “I believe my late husband would be proud of the show we created and my decision to team up with the very television station that brought us together. I moved to San Francisco in 2009 to work at KPIX. Had I not made that move he and I would have never connected.”
“The station and my show's core values are aligned and that makes this partnership even more meaningful," Soltani continued. "CBS Bay Area is the station that shines a spotlight on stories of people in the community. Wine Oh! TV at its core is about community and how we come together. We travel to wine regions in California and around the world with the purpose of bringing people together by breaking bread, opening a bottle, and connecting through culture and with the community."
Every episode of Wine Oh! TV offers tangible takeaways for the viewer watching at home. There is nothing Soltani does in her show that the audience could not do if they traveled to that region. In each episode, Soltani answers three essential questions most asked by Wine Oh! TV’s audience over the last decade: What is there to drink, what is there to do, and what is there to eat in each wine region. New this season Wine Oh! TV brought on Anaconda Street Productions to help bring Soltani's vision to life.
"As I think about Wine Oh! TV this season, the word joy always comes to mind,” said Soltani. “After experiencing tremendous loss in my own life and learning to navigate a new normal with my young twin daughters, my focus now is to bring joy to the world. Wine Oh! TV is a family-friendly show you can turn on while you are making dinner and your children are running around the house or helping you in the kitchen. Wine is the through-line but at its heart it's about community, how we come together, and what connects us.”
This year also marks the first time CBS News Bay Area and KBCW are partnering with Stern Grove Festival to broadcast and livestream some of the season's concerts. The popular festival released its full schedule of summer concerts for its 86th season in April that includes blues guitar hero Buddy Guy, punk pioneer Patti Smith, modern psychedelic rockers the Flaming Lips and more. The free festival concerts take place on Sunday afternoons during the summer; it started on June 18 and runs through August 20.
The concerts will air on KBCW 44 Cable 12 and stream on the CBS News Bay Area website on Sundays from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m with Wine Oh! TV following. Viewers can tune in on their television or catch the livestream, on the CBS SF home page or on the CBS News Bay Area app.
