CZI's investment in NABA Inc.'s new business strategy, One NABA, supports the expansion and launch of targeted programs and resources addressing barriers to the recruitment, retention and promotion of Black professionals
GREENBELT, Md., Feb. 1, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today NABA Inc. announced the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) invested in the organization's innovative business strategy as part of its racial equity grants to support organizations working to advance a world that is more just, equitable, and inclusive.
CZI's investment supports the implementation of NABA's new business model, One NABA, helping to position NABA Inc. to become a premier member-based association serving over 7,000 professional and student members in accounting, business, finance professions and entrepreneurship. One NABA is designed to centralize program delivery, marketing and communications, volunteer recruitment, and improve how the organization measures impact across its professional and college chapters.
"CZI's investment supports the evolution of NABA's business model and demonstrates a strong commitment to the advancement of Black Business Leaders," said Guylaine Saint Juste, NABA Inc. President and CEO. "Partners like CZI are critical in NABA's ability to path and pave a more just world through innovative and sustainable programs and access to resources."
The journey to Black Business Leadership remains impeded by inequity, resulting in limited access to networks, sponsors, and opportunities that expand skills and impact career advancement. The One NABA business model includes the expansion and launch of targeted programs and resources addressing barriers to the recruitment, retention and promotion of Black professionals to drive economic equity and create premises for building generational wealth.
CZI's investment in One NABA helps ensure the organization continues to serve its members with excellence and move the mission forward.
