AURORA, Ill., Feb. 6, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- K-Rise Systems, a leader in JD Edwards product solutions, is pleased to present an exciting lineup of updates and events for the upcoming year. From K-Rise low-code solutions, businesses of all sizes can gain access to an array of features that can help improve productivity and efficiency.
With pre-built solutions such as eCommerce, payment processing, and supplier management, businesses using JD Edwards can streamline their operations and create UIs for web, tablet, and mobile applications quickly and easily.
In this article, K-Rise reflects on the accomplishments of 2022 and looks ahead toward the exciting opportunities for 2023.
New Features in Orchestrator:
These features include a more effective implementation of Orchestrators in DesignTime Revision 2447, RunTime Revision 1115, & ECC Revision 125, a new Orchestration Tester page to aid in testing, and five new Orchestration services to streamline the process. The services include Get Orchestration Inputs, Get Orchestration Outputs, Get Orchestrations, Orchestration, and Orchestration Input, designed to facilitate data retrieval, access to all orchestrations for a given connection instance, and running of the given orchestrations.
Authentication
Modern Authentication is now available for email connections as of DesignTime Revision 2432, RunTime Revision 1104, and ECC Revision 124. Developers can now set up the connections more securely with OAUTH for Gmail and Office 365.
Loop Service
DesignTime Revision 2381 and RunTime Revision 1041 have introduced a new multithreading feature to the Loop Service. This update allows users to access three new nodes: MultiThreaded, NumberOfThreads, and WaitForThreads. The MultiThreaded node allows users to choose whether to enable multithreading in the Loop service, while the NumberOfThreads node sets the number of threads used if multithreading is enabled.
Additionally, the WaitForThreads node allows users to move on to the next service before finishing the Loop. Any logs associated with this will only be available under the loop itself. This technological advancement promises to help users process records more efficiently and accurately.
The company would also like to announce the availability of its EASYCommerce and EASYItem solutions in MVC, and the Base EASYPay version 5.1 Classic. MVC (Model-View-Controller) is a widely used pattern in software engineering for crafting user interfaces, data, and controlling logic. It ensures the division of labor and ease of maintenance by separating the business logic from display elements. Furthermore, several design architectures are based on MVC, such as MVVM (Model-View-Viewmodel), MVP (Model-View-Presenter), and MVW (Model-View-Whatever).
Much of the logic is handled with client-side data stores and XMLHttpRequest, allowing for partial page updates as needed. With the introduction of MVC, K-Rise provides its customers with a more efficient and effective way to manage their eCommerce solutions.

Customer Spotlight
Customers are the top priority at K-Rise Systems. The company would like to spotlight our customer Michelman for their successful collaborative session focused on Work Orders at the annual JDE INFOCUS Virtual Event.
Michelman's presentation, given by Trisha Muir and Jacob Neises, was titled "Digital Work Order Transitioning from Standard JDE Scanning Solutions for Manufacturing," highlighting their need for improved status quo work order processes. K-Rise provided solutions that allowed Michelman to reduce waste and failed batches, resulting in significant cost savings. Additionally, Michelman was able to digitize all their paperwork and reduce the use of paper globally, aligning with their sustainability initiatives.
The deployment was based on work center Zebra tablets with bar-coding OCR embedded within. The process utilized branch and version to accommodate process variations, eliminated human errors while capturing correct processes in JDE, avoided modifications, and provided a single app to cover all regions and languages.

Akshay Khanolkar, a talented programmer at K-Rise, was our featured employee. His journey with the company began in 2017. A black belt in taekwondo, Akshay is an avid movie enthusiast and loves Asian and Indian food. He is passionate about programming and loves the algorithmic method of problem-solving. The second event of IN-FOCUS 2022, 'PCI-DSS: Eliminate Risk, Liability, Remove CHD (Cardholder Data) PCI Scope from Your LAN' aimed to review cyber security best practices, and provide insight into the PCI DSS 12 Standards with 400+ Controls. The presentation was conducted by experts and focused on the security and functional differences of Payment Gateways such as PayPal, Visa CyberSource/Authorize.Net, Adyen, Moneris, WorldPay, Chase Paymentech, and First Data. Other topics covered in the series included the addition of Bar or QR Code Scanning to a mobile app in 15 minutes, building a self-service portal for customers, distributors, agents, and sales staff, improving JDE item master onboarding, and creating robust workflow solutions. Each webinar highlighted the ability of EASYProcess to quickly and easily create solutions that streamline processes and improve business operations.
