New Utility Incentives Offer Significant Savings for Building Owners
Updated 2023 Utility Driven Incentives Now Being Offered, Designed to Save Commercial, Manufacturing, Schools and Other Large Sites Significant Savings. FMC Technologies Now Working With Property Owners and Managers to Implement Savings Programs
CHELMSFORD, Mass., March 6, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Massachusetts Program Administrators, in conjunction with Mass Save, have released a new commercial and industrial Building Management System (BMS), utility incentive program. The program is available for utilization immediately and provides substantially larger incentives for customers under certain conditions. FMC Technologies, a leading Massachusetts based commercial building energy efficiency company is helping building owners take advantage of these utility incentives.
These incentives are now available for projects that implement energy-efficient sequences of operations for the purpose of reducing energy consumption. FMC Technologies has helped its clients claim nearly $400,000 in incentives in the last three years. Projects that are eligible for incentives include:
- add on Sequences to an existing BMS
- first time BMS installation
- replacement of existing BMS
"For some buildings, the new program will provide a much better incentive for the installation of a Building Management System than previous utility prescriptive programs," said Brian Crafts, President of FMC Technologies. "The new program features a simplified application process which should lead to faster approvals."
Crafts notes that this program is worth considering, even for Building Management System proposals in the past that may not have yielded a decent ROI because of the older incentive programs. These incentives, coupled with the increasing costs of energy, make energy efficiency projects more affordable than ever. If you'd like to learn how to take advantage of this incentive program, please contact Brian Crafts at [email protected].
