The aftermath of the pandemic, combined with many states instituting leave and absence benefits for residents, has led to a dramatic uptick in leave claims and has created a demand for knowledgeable and skilled leave and absence claims managers. The four-part Absence Claims Management Skill Builder includes modules for understanding the fundamentals of absence management, the basics of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), an overview of Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML) and the key components of leave-disability integration. The three-part ADA/Accommodations Skill Builder provides a broad overview of the Americans with Disabilities Act as well as evaluating requests for accommodation, including the interactive process and other important legal and administrative considerations.
These progressive curricula include knowledge checks for each learning milestone and extensive instructor notes to allow for continued development beyond the initial implementation. The modules were created to offer a natural and graduated pathway to mastering absence claims management and accommodations.
