Just Released: Tween Fiction Book to Empower Young Changemakers
Educators, parents, and animal advocates are celebrating the new edition release of Zoe Weil's tween fiction book "Claude and Medea: The Hellburn Dogs," a Moonbeam Gold Medal Winner in juvenile fiction.
SURRY, Maine, May 16, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Educators, parents, and animal advocates are celebrating the new edition release of Zoe Weil's "Claude and Medea: The Hellburn Dogs", a Moonbeam Gold Medal Winner in juvenile fiction. The story follows a group of 12-year-olds who, inspired by their eccentric substitute teacher to think differently about the world, embark on a heroic adventure to unravel the mystery of why dogs are being stolen in their neighborhood.
"Claude and Medea" is a story about human kindness, animal protection, and having the courage to make a difference. It is a wonderful resource for educators and parents looking to inspire young people in new ways of thinking and acting.
Sixth-grade teacher Julia Fliss has this to say from her experience reading the book with her sixth-grade students: "The adventures of the Solutionary Squad inside these pages take learning, change-making, and action to a new level. Imagine if every middle school inspired kids to flip their thinking, choose their own learning adventure, and make the world their classroom!"
Raised in Manhattan (the setting for "Claude and Medea"), Weil has always had a love for animals and a desire to make a difference. She hopes this book will empower young people who feel the same way.
The new edition of "Claude and Medea: The Hellburn Dogs" was released on May 2, 2023, and can be purchased through Lantern Publishing or Amazon.
