OAKLAND, Calif., Aug. 31, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- PACENation, the nonprofit organization that advocates for expanded access to PACE financing, announced today the recipients of the 2020 PACESetter Awards and honored three PACE Champions for their distinguished leadership in the PACE marketplace. PACESetters were honored in several categories, including policy innovation, program design, excellence in achieving economic and environmental benefits, and for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the PACE marketplace.
PACENation also released a video to recognize and highlight some of this year's PACESetters and PACE Champions. The video is available here: https://youtu.be/5U4X8APlPxI.
"On behalf of the PACE community, it is an honor to congratulate these extraordinary leaders, whose vision and perseverance have helped thousands of American property owners to save energy, reduce carbon emissions, and strengthen their homes and businesses against natural disasters," said Colin Bishopp, Executive Director of PACENation. "To date, PACE financing has created 130,000 local jobs, injected $16 billion into local economies, and reduced carbon emissions by over 7 million metric tons."
"PACE is collaborative," added Charlene Heydinger, 2020 PACE Champion and CEO of Texas PACE Authority. "This is not a recognition of one person, it's about the hundreds of volunteers and the vision we share for what PACE can be when we work together for the greater good. It's about the 'why' that drives us. We're in this together, and now more than ever, we need to help create new economies and inspire environmental benefits for communities."
