ARDMORE, Pa., Dec. 17, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Rogers Castor is changing its name to Rogers Counsel, effective, January 1, 2021.
Rogers Counsel is refocusing the firm's resources on practice areas that are responsible for driving the firm's significant growth: commercial litigation, real estate, employment, intellectual property, sports and entertainment, and corporate matters. As a result of this refocus, attorney Bruce Castor is leaving the firm at the end of the year.
Lance Rogers founded the 5-lawyer, Ardmore, PA based firm in 2009, with a bold vision: to build a complex litigation law firm offering the expertise of a multinational firm, but with the attention to detail and rate structure only a small private firm can deliver. The model has resonated in Pennsylvania and beyond. Rogers Counsel has been selected to represent celebrities and sports figures across the country, as well as well-known national and international companies.
Managing partner and owner, Lance Rogers, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Northwestern University School of Law. Rogers served as a federal law clerk during a two-year clerkship for the Honorable Clarence C. Newcomer in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He was elected to the Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners and served for four years. Prior to starting the firm, Lance practiced law as a litigation associate at Dechert, LLP, a Philadelphia-based international law firm, and then at Pepper Hamilton LLP, a national multi-practice law firm. Lance is CEO of the Claude Giroux Foundation, a charity built to help children in need.
