A Unique Wonderland Lights Up the Night at Magical Winter Lights
HOUSTON (PRWEB) October 28, 2019 -- Sprawling with more than 100 vibrant lantern sections and six millions lights, the 2019 Magical Winter Lights (MWL) brings back its experiential adventure to Gulf Greyhound Park in La Marque, TX from November 15, 2019, to January 5, 2020, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Explore illuminated tunnels, world landmarks, or stand beneath life-sized dinosaurs and dip into imaginary lands at this holiday festival.
“Magical Winter Lights is not only the largest lantern festival of its kind in the U.S., but while celebrating the 5th anniversary in Houston, we also strive to be the greatest,” said Yusi An, founder and executive producer of the Magical Winter Lights festival. “We provide a real experience for people to build memories bright enough to last a lifetime with lanterns built by true artists.”
Artisans from Zigong, China, where lantern festivals originate, have worked meticulously to create and enhance the experience for visitors this season. For 2019, the iconic castle remains, along with incredible world landmarks, but new inclusions are a tribute to the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, famed artistic masterpieces, and new scenic walls of majestic natural landscapes.
Go beyond the lights by taking in cultural performances from acrobats and other Chinese routines, all included in your admission, plus, enjoy carnival rides and games to top off the festival experience.
The Gulf Greyhound Park is in La Marque, TX, right off state highway 45 south, and approximately 35 minutes from downtown Houston.
