The contest enabled listeners to call in to nominate themselves, or to have someone else nominate them, for a chance to have their wish granted. One of the amazing Christmas wishes that AmeriCash Loans granted was for a growing family of four. After hearing about the Christmas Wish on the radio, wife, Jocelyn submitted her wish after she – along with her husband, toddler, and new baby – moved into their parents' home to save money for a new apartment. She wrote to the station asking for enough money to pay for their first month's rent in a new apartment. After all, with more than 10 people living in a small home, the term "tight quarters" certainly applied.
Then, on one crisp day, Melissa Foreman from 93.9 LITE FM hit the street along with Edison the Reindeer to grant the family's Christmas Wish with a check for $1,000 from AmeriCash Loans. Foreman greeted the family with warm hugs and holiday wishes before presenting the check, which enabled this growing family to move out of their parents' home and into their own apartment. It was truly the family's Christmas wish come true.
