An Industrial Internet of Things Interface for Analog Sensors
Amherst, NY (PRWEB) September 21, 2016 -- The benefits of industrial sensors (or actuators) being compatible with the Internet of Things is recognized but many industrial sensors, which are analog, require too much effort and cost to be made compatible with the Internet. The Esensors EL32 series of networked sensor interfaces is intended to make the process painless for sensors in common use. Data are provided in the engineering the units you select and updated in real time. Calibration and alerts are options. Ideal for legacy sensors.
The interface consists of analog inputs (simple 3-pin connector) for a variety of sensors and actuators. Using this interface, most industrial sensors can be connected directly to the Internet via Ethernet, WiFi or GMS/cellular communication. Unit selection provided for pressure, flow, level, temperature and switch on/off sensors.
The interface is configurable with the following analog inputs (and outputs): voltage (0-5vdc), current loop (4-20 ma), frequency, switches (proximity, dry contact), audio/visual indicators and relay.
