The Sixth Annual PenCraft Book Award Ceremony is an evening of celebration for our award-winning authors, and receive recognition for their accomplishments. It provides a chance to honor their successes with their colleagues in the literary world and celebrate their achievements as one unified community.
HOUSTON, March 6, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The PenCraft Book Awards is proud to announce its April 3rd, book award ceremony at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino. It is the first live PenCraft Award Ceremony since 2019 due to the Covid restrictions. The ceremony and dinner are open to the public but seating is limited. You must have a ticket to enter.
The PenCraft Best Book of the year winner for 2022 is Michael Hebert the author of "Ever Vigilant: Tales of the Vietnam War." His incredible story leads the reader on an enthralling trip through his year in Vietnam. It chronicles a young man's initiation into adulthood and vividly illustrates the harsh realities of war. Since our announcement of his win, his book has continued to grow in popularity gaining almost 400 more Amazon book reviews – he now has 905 reviews and his book hovers constantly in the top 50 in his genre - a promising sign that we picked a real winner. - The Enigma Threat and The Enigma Source by Charles V. Breakfield & Roxanne E. Burkey are 1st Place winners in the Suspense and Action genre.
- Rick Treon Took 1st place honors for, "Let the Guilty Pay," a captivating adventure of suspense and deception with a spellbinding twist of the beloved whodunit!
- Vera Richard Harris's won 1st place in Christian - Fiction: with "My Mom Has Superpowers: A Kid's Book About Faith And Believing."
- Cathy Post author of "Red Cagle: West Point's Three-Time All-American." Award winner Cathy Post is also a relative of the 1920s football phenom - Chris Cagle.
- David Dorrough. Revolution wins in humor with a whimsical look at our modern Internet-immersed world, Southern California, and middle age.
