Arizona Chapters of Ellevate Network and Entrepreneurs' Organization Join Forces For Women's Entrepreneur Panel on March 21
Dynamic panel features four local women entrepreneurs and will go deep into all things entrepreneurship: the good, the bad and the in-between.
PHOENIX, March 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Phoenix chapter of Ellevate Network, a community of professional women, and the Arizona chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO), the world's leading peer-to-peer network of successful business owners, have joined forces to put together a women's entrepreneurship event on Thursday, March 21 from 6-8 p.m.
The event, titled "Tackling Entrepreneurship: The Good, The Bad, and Everything in Between," brings together an accomplished panel of female founders, eager to tell their stories and share their expertise on what it takes to start and scale a successful business. Hosted by Kristina Guerrero of ABC's The List, the event will feature personal stories that dive deep into all things entrepreneurship.
"The leadership of Ellevate Phoenix is strongly committed to helping women build scalable businesses. We are thrilled to be hosting an event featuring founders of high-growth service businesses, based here in Arizona." said Karen Mildenhall, Co-President of Ellevate Phoenix. "Thanks to the support of Medtronic we expect to provide a valuable opportunity for entrepreneurs to learn, connect and be inspired to move their businesses forward, as these amazing women have done."
The panelists are all members of the Arizona Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) chapter. Each have diverse backgrounds and experiences and are building high growth, Arizona-based businesses in different service sectors: transportation engineering, health/beauty and marketing/PR.
Panelists include:
- Jessica Stellwagen - Co-Founder of Bodify & Bodify Academy
- Dawn Cartier - President & Founder of CivTech
- Alexis Krisay - Co-Founder & President of Marketing of Serendipit Consulting
- Melissa DiGianfilippo - Co-Founder & President of PR of Serendipit Consulting
"We have an amazing group of female entrepreneurs in the EO Arizona chapter, but the reality is that those amazing women only represent about 12 percent of our entire chapter," said Steve LeVine, EO Arizona President and Founder of Steve LeVine Entertainment. "As an organization, it is one of our key priorities to grow women entrepreneurship not only in Arizona but across the world. It is our hope that through events like this, we can light that entrepreneurial spark for at least one woman."
The event will be held at Medtronic located at 2110 W. Medtronic Way, Tempe.
