New book details history of formation and growth of the country
MERIDEN, Conn., May 16, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In "Civics 104: America's Evolving Boundaries," author Roger L. Kemp aims to educate students studying American history, teachers and citizens about how the United States was created, expanded and is continuing to evolve.
Throughout the book, Kemp does not discuss his personal opinions on the history of American politics. Instead, he references several official historical documents and provides copies of them for readers to inspect on their own, so they can form their own opinions based on the facts.
The book acts as an educational and comprehensive representation of how America's political boundaries have been expanded over the years. Kemp details the formation of the original thirteen colonies and the growth of the country from that point on. Once the nation was formed, additional information is provided on the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act.
"I am seeking to objectively educate people on the political history of America and the development of the country we live in today and back up the information with official documents and statistics" Kemp said.
