Recent release "Life Observations: A Small Book of Verse" from Page Publishing author Barbara Webb is an inspiring book of poetry that allows readers to glimpse the world from the author's unique perspective.
DENVER, Feb. 3, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Barbara Webb, an Alaskan Native, who was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska, has completed her new book "Life Observations: A Small Book of Verse": a compelling book of poetry that encourages readers to pause and appreciate the complexities and lessons that life offers.
Author Barbara Webb went to undergraduate school and law school in Colorado, where she fell in love with all of the abundant sunshine and decided to stay. She lives in Denver, Colorado, with her husband, John Webb, a former judge on the Colorado Court of Appeals.
Webb discusses her work, sharing, "A couple of years ago, my niece passed away. Although she had been clean and sober for some years, her previous alcohol and drug addiction had taken its toll. I wrote a verse in her memory, and the tone seemed a bit somber, so I wrote a second, more positive verse. Then I embarked on a year of writing—not every day, but when I thought of something to write about."
She continues, "This is the result. I do not aspire to call this poetry. These are simply my life observations, written in verse form. I was hopeful of incorporating some universality into the writing. I will let you decide whether I have succeeded."
Published by Page Publishing, Barbara Webb's thought-provoking book of poetry shares her unique, keen observations of the world around her.
Readers who wish to experience this work can purchase "Life Observations: A Small Book of Verse" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
