First-generation hospitality platform expands into hotel management and operations, diversifies customer experience offerings
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 28, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- AvantStay, a leading hospitality management company and tech platform with 2,300+ short-term vacation rental properties across 65 markets, has announced its entrance into the hotel industry with the forthcoming opening of The Gilmore, an AvantStay Hotel. Founded by real estate and technology entrepreneurs Sean Breuner and Reuben Doetsch in 2017 as a short-term rental startup, AvantStay continues to be a trailblazer in the industry for redefining the way people travel and invest. Breuner and Doetsch selected Nashville, Tenn. for the first full-service hotel location, crediting the Southern city's continued growth and appeal to travelers.
"This is a huge milestone for AvantStay, and there is no better place for our first full-service hotel than in Nashville," said Breuner, founder and chief executive officer of AvantStay. "We've been expanding our portfolio in Nashville due to the increased demand and growth of the city, so bringing our world-class operational expertise in hospitality to managing a hotel there is a natural progression for us."
Located in Nashville's 12 South neighborhood, a lively community south of downtown known for its walkability, shopping and dining destinations, The Gilmore will open in April 2025 with 99 units ranging from studios to four-bedroom suites, as well as private event and luxury retail spaces. The Gilmore will showcase AvantStay's dedication to an enhanced guest experience from booking to departure with in-room food & beverage service, an underground parking garage, a 24/7 staffed main lobby, options for contactless check in and check out, and add-on services like fridge stocking and IV therapy. Three private event spaces will also be available onsite: a spacious courtyard, open-air rooftop and multipurpose room designed for corporate meetings or small gatherings.
Nashville-based development firm M Cubed Developments owns the property and Humphreys & Partners was tapped to spearhead the architecture of the newly constructed building. Nashville-based firm Design Object is leading the interior design of the hotel, which combines European leisure with Southern charm to combine a welcoming ambiance and the ease of a Mediterranean resort across the indoor and outdoor spaces.
The Gilmore, an AvantStay Hotel, is located at 1121 Gilmore Avenue in Nashville. Room reservations are now available for stays beginning April 2025 and can be made here.
