SAN FRANCISCO, May 29, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Avid 1960s poster collector Andrew Hawley, from Vintage Rock Posters, announces his search for vintage Bob Dylan 1964 Kleinhans Music Hall Buffalo boxing style concert posters. Dylan's first concert at Kleinhans Hall on November 1, was lightly attended, but that drastically changed when he returned the following year.
According to Hawley, "The Kleinhans is the home for the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and is best known for Martin Luther King's famous 'The Future of Integration' speech. The layout of the 1964 Dylan Kleinhans concert poster is similar to the 1963 New York Town Hall poster. The layout includes a photo of Dylan with his harmonica. The most significant difference between the two layouts is that the Town Hall poster includes local quotes from newspapers and music magazines while the Kleinhans poster does not. In 1965, a tour blank used the second Dylan Kleinhans show and many other concerts that year including San Jose, Minneapolis, Carnegie Hall, Vets Memorial in Columbus, Ohio, and the Pasadena Civic Center."
