Proceeds from Play with Pride by Guitar Center Will Benefit The Trevor Project, the World's Largest Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Organization for LGBTQ Young People.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., July 28, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- During Pride month in June, leading fundraising platform, BetterWorld provided free, easy-to-use online auction software to support Guitar Center's Play With Pride online fundraising event. Play With Pride raised a total of $49,903 to benefit The Trevor Project, the world's largest suicide prevention and mental health organization for LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning) young people. On top of coordinating the fundraiser, Guitar Center pledged to donate up to $50,000 in matching charitable funds to the cause.
