MORUYA, Australia, Feb. 3, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- There have been many dark tales passed down through the centuries that have instilled children with fear and woe. Some stories which have been read to them were quite frightening and even rather gory. This compelled BetZy to write a book that aims to raise awareness on pertinent issues and help the future generations grow, learn and excel.
A story told in rhymes, "Whoops-a-Daisy the World's Gone Crazy" (published by Balboa Press AU) follows the journey of a 7-year-old girl as she fights for the future fairness of her four furry feathered friends and their homes in the fast fading forest. Fyrn has always had big dreams. She wants to be a voice for those unable to speak and the eyes for those who fail to see. Noticing trees slowly disappearing from the bushland/reserve behind her home, Fryn embarks on a courageous fight for her furry feathered friends (Chuckles the kookaburra, Ank the possum, K-all the wise old owl, Tabmow the wombat) and Snuff, the echidna. She struggles to spread awareness of the plight of the frightened wildlife as their habitat is slowly cut away. Will she succeed in achieving her goal and transforming the world?
"Whoops-a-Daisy the World's Gone Crazy" highlights the importance of environmental conservation and protecting creatures great and small. It covers vital topics (issues of health, deforestation, waste management, global warming) which are of vital importance to the planet.
When asked what she wants readers to take away from the book, the author says, "Mindfulness — for future generations to be informed and prepared instead of scared of what their future may hold."

About the Author
BetZy grew up on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Having spent the last 21 years living in Tuross Head in New South Wales (south of Batemans Bay), she has been witnessing a gradual increase of mankind's destructive pattern. The fires of 2019/2020 were catastrophic enough on the south coast and other areas of Australia on the whole. Whenever she travels into Batemans Bay, she witnesses loaded logging trucks heading the opposite direction. No doubt from Mogo State Forest, which (since the fires) has been depleted — now the remaining threatened species are being gradually deleted. With this book, she hopes to help future generations grow, learn and excel. This first book, "Whoops-a-Daisy, the World's Gone Crazy," focuses on mankind's thoughtless ongoing crimes against nature and its vulnerable creatures.
