COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 22, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Security is paramount when sharing information to highly selective audiences via podcasts. Blubrry Podcasting's latest service release, Private Internal Podcasting (PIP), includes an iOS app, available now in Apple's app store. Apple designed the iOS platform with security at its core; Blubrry took the same approach when developing its private podcasting application.
The service, Private Internal Podcasting, offers three levels of plans based on security. This first-ever encryption-at-rest service gives enterprises and corporations assurance that the podcast episodes cannot be redistributed, even on rooted and compromised devices.
"Some private podcasting apps imply security," said Todd Cochrane, CEO of Blubrry. "Our Private Internal Podcasting has multiple layers of failsafe security to protect your audio and video on both web and mobile devices."
The iOS app, Private Podcasting, is designed for leadership, employees, audience members, etc. who manage internal podcast shows. It works seamlessly with the Blubrry dashboard, where designated team members upload and publish episodes. Unique to Blubrry's Private Internal Podcasting service, organizations and enterprise customers can decide on the level of security and encryption, providing finite control over their company IP when distributed to employees.
Episodes cannot be stored or copied from the app -- even from rooted devices -- when encryption-at-rest security is deployed. Other options include not allowing the episodes to be saved for offline playing, a 100% guarantee that the company IP cannot be copied and redistributed.
Blubrry's PIP service includes Enterprise level options such as SSO support with both SAML and oAuth2 OpenConnect with granular account control via groups. For example, if you only want the sales team to access the internal podcast for the sales team, your IT administrator can set up the Group in your Active Directory and Blubrry's system will take care of the rest.
The service is available only for the Enterprise level of service, as a mobile app is the most secure way to provide a private podcast that prevents any possible sharing capabilities. Contact the Blubrry team for a demo of Private Internal Podcasting including their iOS app.
