John Spadea shows how perseverance is key to getting what one wants in 'Logbook Affairs'
EAGAN, Minn., Feb. 28, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Author John Spadea looks back at how he defied the naysayers to become a commercial pilot and enjoy a career that is still going strong in his autobiography titled "Logbook Affairs: How I Became a Pilot" (published by Archway Publishing).
Starting with his boyhood dream, Spadea lays out the obstacles in his way to becoming a pilot, such as bad grades, expensive schooling and the dangers of flying. He recounts how he overcame it all to hold the position of captain of a Boeing 747. The author discusses his flying adventures from scary incidents to famous people and what it's like to fly all around the world. In addition, he comments of the future of flying, noting that airlines will need thousands of new pilots in the coming years.
Spadea hopes to inspire future generations to not give up on their dreams of becoming a pilot. He encourages readers saying "Anyone can succeed in life. It starts with a dream — followed by passion, perseverance, hard work and a little bit of good fortune."
